360 Panoramas
What’s a 360 panorama? It’s an image that shows everything around you, not just what’s in front of you. Imagine you put a 360 degree camera inside a globe. You’d end up with a spherical photo that shows the entire world — whether you look left, right, up or down. In a 360 panorama image, everything is visible.
I often like to twist and manipulate panoramic photos into surreal 360 digital art. But the original spherical image can be fascinating too. And by viewing one through a virtual reality headset, you can immerse yourself in the image and feel like you’re actually there.
